The design students of eight universities of Thailand including Thammasat, King Mongkut and Chiang Mai are enthusiastically showcasing their innovative furniture along with Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), at an exhibition that began on May 22, in Bangkok.

The expo has been organized by the Office of Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion (OSMEP), King Mongkut's University of Technology and the National Innovation Agency.

The main purpose of holding this exhibition is to provide the students as well as SMEs, a grand platform for showcasing their products to a large number of customers and make new contacts for getting new business projects.

OSMEP has always backed up the SMEs, to make their position firm for building strong brand name in collaboration with designers. This will be beneficial for both sides as they can learn from each other and grow significantly.

Some of the Thai home decor companies have made their mark in international market. They have now become a role model for many SMEs and promising furniture designers who desire reach greater heights.
