Quaker Chemical Corporation announced that it has been selected for inclusion in the Russell 3000 Index with the reconstitution of Russell Investments' family of U.S. indexes on June 27, 2008.
The move will result in automatic inclusion of Quaker in the appropriate growth and value style indexes. Russell determines membership for its equity indexes primarily by objective, market-capitalization rankings and style attributes. Quaker had previously been part of the Russell Microcap Index.
Ronald J. Naples, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, commented, "We are delighted that Quaker has been selected for the Russell 3000 Index. Our inclusion is an acknowledgement of the growth and financial progress we have achieved. We believe we offer investors opportunity for both equity appreciation and dividend returns, and we welcome the increased visibility among the investment community."
