Quaker Chemical joins Russell 3000 Index

Jul '08
Quaker Chemical Corporation announced that it has been selected for inclusion in the Russell 3000 Index with the reconstitution of Russell Investments' family of U.S. indexes on June 27, 2008.

The move will result in automatic inclusion of Quaker in the appropriate growth and value style indexes. Russell determines membership for its equity indexes primarily by objective, market-capitalization rankings and style attributes. Quaker had previously been part of the Russell Microcap Index.

Ronald J. Naples, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, commented, "We are delighted that Quaker has been selected for the Russell 3000 Index. Our inclusion is an acknowledgement of the growth and financial progress we have achieved. We believe we offer investors opportunity for both equity appreciation and dividend returns, and we welcome the increased visibility among the investment community."

Quaker Chemical Corporation is a leading global provider of process chemicals, chemical specialties, services, and technical expertise to a wide range of industries -- including steel, automotive, mining, aerospace, tube and pipe, coatings and construction materials.

Our products, technical solutions, and chemical management services enhance our customers' processes, improve their product quality, and lower their costs. Quaker's headquarters is located near Philadelphia in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania.
