Leather Crafting Company plans to widen its horizon

Albert's Leather Crafting Company, a well known Lebanese leather crafting and tanning producer has recently inked an investment agreement with the Ma'an Development Company (MDC), a subsidiary of the South Company for Construction and Development (SCCD).
Together these two companies will establish a leather crafting factory in the Industrial Park of Ma'an Development Area (MDA).
The officials of both the companies were present for signing the deal, that will come up with a capital investment of nearly US $4.2 million. The new leather production unit is expected to start its operations by the end of this year.
This would be Albert's first production plant outside Lebanon, which will produce goods of international standards. The Company aims to ship nearly 80 percent of the manufactured items and rest of the products will be marketed locally.
Experts believe that the new factory would provide job opportunity for nearly 100 people that will automatically boost economy of the region. Albert's Leather Crafting Company is considered to be the best in tanning and crafting of leather products.
MDA is all set to become a hub for industrial and vocational training as it provides excellent infrastructure, incentives, perfect location and perfect investment laws for overseas entrepreneurs.
