Shop.org announced that a diverse group of companies including multichannel as well as pure play online retailers have joined its growing membership since June 1.

Leading retailers who have joined in the last two months include Peapod, a leading online grocery store with more than 8,000 products and 13 million customers nationwide; Tory Burch LLC, a New York-based luxury lifestyle brand offering classic American sportswear; luxury retailer Cole Haan who operates 80 stores throughout the US, Canada and Japan; and Blinds.com, Internet Retailer's number one online window coverings retailer with over 4,200 different types of window covering options available.

“We've heard from many of our friends at other online retailers that Shop.org is "the place to be" for any significant retailer in their industry. We've really benefited from the other Shop.org events this year, and can't wait to go to the Summit next month,” said Daniel Cotlar, Chief Marketing Officer, Blinds.com. “This year, we plan to develop additional partnerships with many more retailers. Our Shop.org membership should play a strong part in helping us set up these alliances.”

Other prominent companies who joined Shop.org include Gymboree, an international brand with 926 retail stores selling children's apparel as well as Gymboree Play & Music centers and Char-Broil, America's oldest and largest grill brand.
