The Pakistani government is planning to revise the export customs tariff with a view to arrest the decline in exports from the country, said the Minister of Industries & Production, Mir Hazar Khan Bijrani.
He said that a review to understand the reasons for the decline in exports was underway and necessary policy decisions like reviewing the customs tariffs on exports would be looked into.
He said that he was recently given the charge of the ministry and was reviewing the export processing zones as well as their functionalities in order to identify the problematic areas.
