PTA closes $10 million worth of deals at Italy Fair

Pakistan Tanners Association (PTA) closed deals for over $10 million worth of orders for leather and leather products at the Lineapelle Fair held at Bologna City, Italy during October 12 to 14, 2010.
Also, some more export deals are underway as negotiations are going on in that respect. These are about $4 million worth of deals which are likely to materialize soon, and which is believed to assist the Pakistani leather industry to revive dwindling exports.
The PTA members participated in the fair with financial assistance and support advanced by the Pakistani government and the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP).
There were about 22 tanners who participated in the popular and globally recognized trade event, this year.
