- Hand-made jewellery: the most comprehensive range of beads, pearls and accessories to make rings, necklaces, bracelets and clothing accessories.
Plus: embroidering, crochet, hardanger, bobbin lace, cross-stitching, self-made fashion wear, needlework, making dolls and teddies, haberdasheries.
In 1966 the Kortrijk municipality started to build a new exhibition complex in Kortrijk – Zuid, beside the future exit of the planned E3 motorway (later renamed the E17). De hallen Kortrijk was opened in April 1967, replacing the medieval Cloth Halls which were destroyed together with a large part of the town centre in the heavy bombardments in the summer of 1944.
