Samantha Moore, first-year Fine and Applied Arts student at the University of Ulster, has been chosen as the winner the Toni&Guy Rock Strange competition.
The leading hairdressing company have teamed up with UU to help launch their exclusive new jewellery collection, Rock Strange.
Students on the Metalsmithing and Jewellery course, based at the University's Belfast campus, were invited to design a piece to form part of the new collection.
First-year student Samantha's winning design will be unveiled as part of the Rock Strange collection during the finale of Belfast Fashion Week on Saturday 24 March.
Cara Murphy, Associate Lecturer in Metalsmithing and Jewellery Design at UU said: “We have a lot of young and fresh talent in Northern Ireland and thanks to companies like Toni&Guy, these young people get a chance to demonstrate what they are capable of.”
