Cosmetic seller Oriflame's 3-month sales up 6% to €350.1m

Swedish cosmetics company Oriflame Cosmetics announced the financial results for three months ended 30 June 2005.
Local currency sales increased by 7 percent and Euro sales grew by 8 percent, to €168.5m (€155.9m).
Average size of the Sales Force increased by 6 percent, to 1,604,800 Consultants and productivity in local currency increased by 2 percent. Closing Sales Force was up by 7 percent Operating profit decreased to €19.7m (€26.5m). Margins were lower as a result of measures taken to increase sales growth.
Profit after tax decreased to €18.2m (€20.3m)
Six months ended 30 June 2005 - Sales increased by 6 percent both in local currency and in Euro to €350.1m (€331.0m) - Adjusted profit after tax decreased by 12 percent, to €42.5m (€48.3m) - Adjusted EPS after dilution decreased by 13 percent, to €0.72 (€0.82) - Cash flow from operating activities amounted to €30.7m (€38.9m).
