Luxury Menswear Company Hickey Freeman Co signs exclusive special occasion dressing agreement with David Wright of the New York Mets.
Classically American, handsomely straightforward and never pretentious could easily describe both Hickey Freeman and third baseman for the New York Mets, David Wright. Recently, Wright signed a contract with Hickey Freeman and Bobby Jones to wear the Hartmarx owned brands exclusively during public appearances off the field.
"As a young American and top professional in the country's favorite pastime, baseball, it is only 'fitting' that David be associated with a brand that is as truly American as Hickey Freeman," says Paulette Garafalo, Group President of Hickey Freeman and Bobby Jones.
Wright, a long-time fan of Hickey Freeman, was recognized by a salesman while shopping at the flagship store on Fifth Avenue in New York City.
The salesman immediately struck up a conversation with the twenty-two year old rookie and discovered Wright's passion for the classic American brand. Sports fans and tastemakers alike will note that this is the second time Hickey Freeman has scored on the athletic field.
The luxury menswear company recently signed New York Jets coach Herm Edwards for a second year of exclusive special occasion dressing. Both athletic success stories illustrate that Hickey Freeman is truly perfect at any age.
