This new executive director will be joining the company on 1 March, when he will form a part of the Board of Directors and take on the position of Chief Operations Officer (COO). In this role, he will be in charge of the Logistics, Imports/Exports, IT, Human Resources and Operating Strategy departments.
After graduating with a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Barcelona and completing an MBA at the IESE business school, Carlos Costa spent more than 25 years at different international offices of The Boston Consulting Group, being made a senior partner in the group in 1994. He recently headed the Consumer Specialisation, Retail and Transport departments of BCG in Iberia and was a member of the International Marketing and Operations Management.
This new appointment sees MANGO reinforcing its senior management structure, which is now composed of 3 Deputy Chairmen: Nahman Andic, Daniel López and Jonathan Andic. Together they form part of the company’s Board of Directors, which is chaired by Isak Andic, and completed by the directors Enric Casi, Salvador Vallés and Isak Halfon.
