Footwear Company Liberty Shoes Ltd will invest around Rs75 crore to fortify its distribution channel across the country and also planning to have 25 exclusive retail outlets under 'Revolution' brand name.
Company currently has 10 wholly-owned showrooms and wants to increase to 25 with investment of one crore in each showroom.
Company is also in the process to increase current 400 stores to 600 through franchisee model with an investment of Rs50 crore, said Liberty Shoes CEO Adesh Gupta.
Company has 10 'Revolution' outlets in metro cities and now targeting cities like Ludhiana and Chandigarh.
Liberty Footwear is the only Indian company that is among the top 5 manufacturers of leather footwear of the world with a turnover in excess of US $100 million.
Company is producing more than 50,000 pairs of footwear a day.
