GoLite Footwear rolls out new trail running shoe line

-- The patent-pending Isomorphic Suspension system is designed specifically for vertically rugged terrain above the timberline. When met with uneven terrain, the independent springs, or Trail Claws, each react with their own level of displacement. By isolating the uplift, Trail Claws fill the space created by bumpy ground, rather than balancing the foot against a traditional flat and wobbly outsole plate. The result is improved stability on the trail.

-- Amorphic Suspension system is built directly inside of the shoe for noticeably enhanced stability and comfort. Internal 'memory foam' encases uneven trail elements much like how a body-forming mattress works and actually envelop protruding rocks or roots, becoming one with the trail. The result is heightened traction, improved stability, and an incredibly soft feeling under foot.

-- NEOform seamless upper is a revolutionary sculpted outer casing that protects the foot from bruises and scratches caused by unforeseen obstacles. This ultra-light foam does not absorb water and increases comfort over time.

-- PreciseFit system is a patent-pending adjustable insole system that can be individually customized for a better fit.

In May 2006, Timberland acquired certain assets of GoLite LLC, including trademarks. GoLite Footwear is managed out of Stratham, New Hampshire while GoLite apparel, equipment and accessories will continue to be led by GoLite founders Demetri and Kimberly Coupounas, operating as an independent company out of their headquarters in Boulder, Colorado.
