Ferreira Tennis to participate in 2006 NASDAQ-100 Open

Ferreira Tennis, a tennis apparel company founded by former ATP Tour World No. 1 Doubles player Ellis Ferreira and his wife Ashley, will participate in the 2006 NASDAQ-100 Open. During the tournament, which begins Monday, March 20, Ferreira Tennis apparel will be available to purchase at the on-site merchandise tent.

In addition Ferreira Tennis will debut a two-court-wide, 16-feet-tall children's inflatable called Ferreira Tennis Playground, containing tennis target hitting, an obstacle course with slide and a tennis court bouncy.

Ferreira Tennis' spring/summer line has more than 200 pieces for boys, girls and women. The clothes are designed to easily transition from the court to the street with fashion taking the forefront throughout the line.

In addition, Ferreira Tennis places a strong emphasis on performance with the new “No Sweat” technology which allows a fabric to wick perspiration away from the body.

“We designed the Ferreira Tennis Playground to give back to the tennis community. It demonstrates our commitment to youth and the game of tennis,” said Ellis Ferreira, chief executive officer and chairman of Ferreira Tennis.

“We believe that to foster a child's love for tennis, everything about the game has to be fun. The goal of our colorful and creative clothing -- and now our inflatable playground – is to provide opportunities for children to get involved with tennis at a younger age,” said Ashley Ferreira, vice president and chief designer of Ferreira Tennis.
