Schlenker to see Maier Sports NA & Eastern Europe sales

Maier Sports GmbH & Co KG have restructured their international sales team and created a new position: Henning Schlenker (36) is now in charge of the growing markets of Eastern Europe, North America (NA) and Canada for the brands maier sports, US40 and at.one. Robert Schlagenhauf will concentrate on the key European areas.
Henning Schlenker (36) is the second executive to join the maier sports' team in charge of exports. The 36-year-old is responsible, with immediate effect, for the development of new areas and the cementing of existing agents' areas in Eastern Europe in countries such as Poland, Russia, The Ukraine, Turkey and the Baltic states.
Alongside this fast-growing market, Henning Schlenker will also promote these brands in North America and Canada for the first time.
As a skier, climber and ski-tourer, he will bring plenty of experience and knowledge to the table. He spent the last three years as Product Manager in Activewear for Sympatex Technologies GmbH and was also a Key Account Manager for all export zones, focusing on sales and marketing.
This new position was necessary due to the growing part maier sports exports have played over the past few years. Their existing International Sales Manager, Robert Schlagenhauf, can now focus his full attention on the key areas in BeNeLux, Scandinava and Austria.
