Alice Temperley captured by Nikon for stylish camera case

For a limited-time offer this holiday season, Nikon has partnered with Alice Temperley to create a stunning new accessory for the tech-savvy and style-conscious consumer. From November 26, 2006, consumers purchasing the COOLPIX S9 digital camera will receive an exclusive, Temperley for Nikon camera case while supplies last.

A national retailer will have extremely limited quantities of this special accessory incorporating one of Temperley's signature prints and promise to go quickly. Consumers are encouraged to scan their holiday circulars to determine which local retail chain will be carrying this item.

"Partnering with a world-renowned designer like Alice Temperley is a very exciting venture for Nikon as we are constantly looking for new ways to integrate style and fashion into our brand," said Lisa Baxt, senior communications manager, Nikon Inc "Temperley's beautiful designs are taken from her current collection and the Temperley for Nikon case is as stylish as our Nikon COOLPIX S9."

The Temperley for Nikon camera case is crafted in a pink and black chili print from her Fall collection and will feature Temperley's inspiration, "take me everywhere, capture the moment" reminding consumers that photography is always in season, especially during the holidays. The case will be sold with the COOLPIX S9, a sleek, slim, and stylish digital camera from Nikon's Style Series.

Alice Temperley was born in England in 1975, trained at London's Central Saint Martin's College of Art and finished her studies with a Masters degree at the Royal College of Art. Besides a thorough training in the traditional disciplines, Temperley specialized in fabric technology and print, believing that these understandings are beneficial to the creative process as they enable the design process to start from the fabric and work upwards.
