DTC to hold presentations for increasing Sightholders

Diamond Trading Company (DTC), the sales and marketing arm of De Beers, declared dates for presentations to be made to non-Sightholders so that they become aware of company and its application processes, liabilities, criteria for 2008 contract period and advantages of being a DTC Sightholder.
DTC has scheduled the presentations at key markets and cutting centers in Johannesburg on March 8, 2007, Toronto on March 22, Hong Kong on March 27 and Mumbai on March 29.
DTC is keen to see rise in global consumer demand for diamond jewellery and success of company Sightholders is important for this, according to Managing Director Varda Shine.
DTC will seek partnership from enterprises which manufacture high quality products and have strong marketing policies during 2008 contract period. Company, its producer partners and Sightholders will try to achieve growth by sharing responsibilities.
DTC is the largest supplier of rough diamonds worldwide, with 40 percent share by value. It has branches in India, Dubai, Hong Kong, Italy, Botswana, Namibia, UK, South Africa, Japan and other countries.
