Dubai based jewellery and watch enterprise Piaget plans to launch 30 retail outlets and five boutiques in Middle East countries, with one boutique in Qatar.
Company had opened its first Middle East boutique in Dubai last year. It will unveil the stand-alone boutique in Doha by 2009, with Pearl Qatar being a prospective location.
Flagship boutiques are also planned for Dubai, Kuwait and Abu Dhabi.
Piaget Director Edouard Cottin, who is visiting Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition, informed the media that Qataris prefer jewellery sets. Piaget's local representative Alfardan Jewellery has set up stalls at the expo.
He added that demand for Piaget ornaments is surging in the country. Company has introduced expensive Emperador watch at the exhibition.
Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition is being held for fourth time this year. It is occupying area of 15,000 square meters and displaying latest merchandize from international brands.
