GF Ferre S/S 2008 children's footwear collection

Children run, jump and play. GF FERRÉ accompanies them as they change, evolve and mature. It is in his nature, his genetic wiring.
This evolution manifests itself in the collection of children's shoes for Spring/Summer 2008: great attention to the styling and construction, details and customization, for a thoroughgoing exploration of the “world of children”, with all its dynamics and manifold logic of fruition regarding such an important accessory.
For the boys, the sneakers feature strap fasteners, laces or fastening solutions constituted by elastic borders. All of them display edgy styling, marked by bold chromatic contrasts. The sporty models also reveal a singular sophistication, for example in the stitched customizing details that make it possible to combine them with the elegant garments.
The city sandals can have logo-print ribbons in grosgrain with crest embroidery or, on the other hand, rubber bottoms and high-tech details. The chromatic palette includes pure white and navy blue, sand tones that shade into the browns, and grays that extend all the way to black, red and metallic highlights.
For the girls, there are thousands of variations on the theme of flats: in calfskin with “obi”, bows, lurex embroidery, Swarovski charms or metal buckles. In the easy version, they come in delicate pastel tones – apple green, purple and pink, or in white, gold and silver, with satin ribbons and contrasting trim.
The alternative to the flats are the sandals and flip-flops, ultra-flat or with wedge heels, discrete and lovely. Both of these models have straps and slender bands in regular leather, patent leather and PVC, with embroidery work, rhinestones and charms.
For boys and girls, a definitely glamorous statement is made by the various types of shoes in calfskin and split suede with all-over silk-screened effect in different colors. The supple nappa and metallic leathers, the patent leathers, the “lacerated” textures, frequently combined together, invent singular contrasts in terms of materials and colors which, in turn, invent a whole world of games and magic.
