The Walking Company, the largest retailer of comfort footwear in the world, has taken to the shores of the Pacific once again and is opening three more locations in Hawaii; two on Maui and one on Oahu. The Walking Company already has one location on each island.
Each location features the latest styles and designs from more than 40 premium comfort footwear brands such as ECCO, Mephisto and Dansko. The Walking Company also offers a wide selection of comfort footwear from hard-to-find quality brands from around the world such as Pikolinos and Beautifeel. The store offers a comprehensive selection for every walk of life, including dress shoes, sandals, clogs, boots and active.
The first new store on Maui recently opened at the Queen Ka'ahumanu Center located at 275 West Ka'ahumanu Avenue in Kahalui. The island's premier shopping and entertainment destination, the Queen Ka'ahumanu Center is the home of Maui's only department stores, Sears and Macy's.
The mall also offers more than 100 shops and restaurants, from cool island-style boutiques to such national names as American Eagle Outfitters, Sharper Image, Foot Locker and Borders Express. Mall hours are Monday-Saturday, 9:30 a.m.-9:00 p.m. and Sunday, 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
The other store on Maui is set to open August 24 at Whalers Village at 2435 Kaanapali Parkway in Lahaina. Whalers Village Shopping Center is one of Maui's most popular places for shopping, dining, live entertainment and all-around good times by the sea.
