Majestic Athletic shake hands with Lehigh Valley IronPigs

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs have officially announced a partnership with Majestic Athletic, making the Bangor (Pa.) company an Authentic Supplier of the IronPigs. The agreement is highlighted by the on-field outfitting of the IronPigs with outerwear and fleece training apparel as well as the IronPigs naming their retail store at Coca-Cola Park the 'Majestic Clubhouse Store.'.

The agreement further provides Majestic Athletic, a subsidiary of VF Imagewear Inc, prominent signage and product display. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

"We're both proud and excited about this new partnership with the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, as it symbolizes Majestic and VF Imagewear's connection both to the game of baseball and the Lehigh Valley,” said Faust Capobianco IV, VP/GM - MLB Global Sales and Marketing for Majestic Athletic.

“This sponsorship and Authentic supplier partnership will allow us to play an important role in the IronPigs' mission of bringing a true Major League experience to our community. This means excitement and value from the play on the field right down to the jerseys and jackets in the 'Majestic Clubhouse Shop.”

Currently, the team's retail store is located on 1892 Catasauqua Road in Allentown. The Majestic Clubhouse Store will be located at the main entrance of Coca-Cola Park when the IronPigs stadium opens along with an additional branded retail location inside the facility. Construction is scheduled to be completed in Feb. 2008.
