David's Bridal, the only national bridal retailer, joins with 20 other top bridal designers and manufacturers for the debut of BRIDES magazine's national "Something Pink" campaign to coincide with Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The multi-tiered fundraiser which kicked off with the nationwide sale of the November/December issue of BRIDES supports the Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation (MMBCF), an organization founded to grant wishes to women with stage IV breast cancer and their families.
To assist in fundraising efforts David's involvement will be multifaceted, featuring a corporate donation, an opportunity for employee participation and an invitation to David's customers to join the effort.
To highlight the official color associated with breast cancer awareness, the leading bridal publication charged designers with creating a gown that incorporates pink, to be showcased in a fashion portfolio in the November/December issue of BRIDES (on stands from October 10 through December 19).
The magazine features a beautiful beaded lace trumpet gown (style VW9340; $449) from the Galina Collection for David's Bridal complemented with a pink, pearl-beaded satin sash (about $60).
David's Bridal will make a donation to MMBCF for every bridal gown sold in their stores from October 10 through December 19, up to a maximum donation of $25,000. The donation will be used to fulfill wishes and make a difference in the lives of those sufferingfrom this devastating disease.
