Is full of references to affinities, attractions, mixes, repulsions that intermingle in the general dynamism of the Fall/Winter 08 09 collection signed by Taiana Cult. A refined, recognized and recognizable style that can be broken down into two macro-areas.
Urban Lounge where minimalism has been skillfully mixed with distinctive elements, simple patterns, shiny/matt combinations, splashes of light, and special finishing for exclusive fabrics. Actor, from the striking playfulness of a shirt that is alive and for living, for cult objects that are not only a garment but also an accessory.
We could focus on tens of items in this collection but prefer to linger over those which, more than the others, will grab the attention of the public and the critics. Age, for example, with a stretch cotton base and a super-soft hand, guarantees the highest performance in terms of wear ability for a slim shirt with clean and tidy colours.
Irony, in stretch cotton and metal with a textured effect, bright and audacious, with reflections of light given by the steel for a decidedly scenic effect. Pilk, instead, with a cotton and revisited silk base in a contemporary key has been ennobled by a washed finishing for a textured shirt that practically speaks.
Last, Coris, with its micro jacquard motifs in pure cotton also on out-of-the ordinary thread-by-thread for minimal, unique and precious effects.
Because the only way to stand out is diversity, by thinking and creating fabrics as if they were books, with a text, with a story and with an excellent cover. Taiana's mission has always been to produce original solutions by escaping from all things banal and tiny contaminations.
