Responding to the growing demand for higher rebound abilities in athletic footwear, OrthoLite -- the leader in premium insoles and performance linings launched X-40 High Rebound.

An advanced foam insole developed with boosted elasticity ratings of more than 40 percent for maximum resiliency, ideal for high-impact sports such as basketball, tennis and football.

Designed by a team of OrthoLite chemists, X-40 High Rebound's elasticity allows for superior resiliency to enhance an athlete's overall performance.

X-40 High Rebound has all the properties of OrthoLite comfort foam insoles, including superior cushioning, moisture removal and a patented anti-microbial formulation to fight fungus, bacteria and odor.

"X-40 High Rebound has pushed the technological boundaries of what insoles have been able to provide athletic footwear in the past," said Pamela Gelsomini, OrthoLite president and partner.

"X-40 High Rebound can also be combined with other OrthoLite products in varying densities, colors and molds to create a customized insole."

X-40 High Rebound will be available to footwear designers and manufacturers this fall.

Company Overview: OrthoLite, headquartered in Amherst, MA, is the world's leading supplier of open cell foam insoles and is in more than 50 million pairs of shoes each year including brands as Asics, Nike, Adidas, New Balance, Timberland and Rockport.
