SpringBoost USA announced the creation of an elite, collegiate and pro team sales representative position and the appointment of Mark A. Reed, Jr. in that capacity.
Reed, based in San Antonio, Tex., played professional basketball in France, Germany, Mexico, Sweden, and Switzerland from 2000 to 2007. He has a degree from Wayland Baptist University.
“SpringBoost has a great technology, and I'm excited to bring it to elite athletes and teams,” said Reed. “I've been wearing performance athletic footwear for a long time. I've experienced the benefits of dorsiflexion first-hand, and I now look forward to increasing its adoption among hard-core players and teams.”
The SpringBoost sales team has more than doubled with the appointment of more than a dozen new sales reps to expand coverage in the U.S. The hiring of these footwear industry veterans represents the first in a series of sales and marketing efforts that will greatly increase the visibility of the company's DORSI Technology in the U.S. marketplace.
“We believe Mark and Mark's new position represent a tremendous opportunity for our performance training and volleyball shoes, and prepares the ground for future performance footwear specifically designed for basketball and golf,” said Donald Johnson, vice president of sales.
“Our roots and core values lie in athletics and scientific studies that have validated significant performance gains when wearing SpringBoost footwear. Our footwear allows athletes to jump higher, run faster and develop more muscle leading to an increase in strength and explosive power.”
