Lord and Taylor and GQ magazine celebrate the launch of Black Brown 1826, Lord and Taylor's exclusive menswear collection, with a cocktail party, Thursday, September 18th, 6 pm.
The invitation-only event will be hosted by actor Jeremy Piven, star of HBO's Entourage, on the rooftop of Lord and Taylor's landmarked building on Fifth Avenue.
Black Brown 1826 is a modern lifestyle collection inspired in classic Americana, with elements for the modern man. The collection, which is available in 44 Lord and Taylor stores, is advertised in September GQ as well as other publications, and featured in Lord and Taylor's fashion catalogues for men.
"1826 is the year in which Lord and Taylor was founded. Black and brown are representative of great men's colors: street smart and country wise.
The collection is fashion forward in styling, detailing and constructed of luxurious yarns," explains Lord and Taylor's President and CEO, Jane Elfers.
"We are so proud of Black Brown 1826 that we showcased it during New York's Fashion Week," Elfers says. "This was a first for the store and we wanted the entire industry to see how extraordinary the collection is."
Black Brown 1826 collection and blow-ups of images from the advertising campaign for the launch, will be displayed in Lord and Taylor's famous Fifth Avenue windows through September 22.
