Indian Artizans is backed by Scale Ventures and whose co founder Rahul Narvekar will now join the board of Debarun. Rahul Narvekar is also investor director at InCraft Fashion Venture, the parent of Indian Artizans.

Working closely with weavers to create products for the contemporary consumer, Indian Artizans is a host to designers like Jayati Goenka, ANS by Astha and Sidharth. Debarun Mukherjee too will now be working closely with these artisans.

Indian Artizans was set up with a vision to bring Indians and also NRI's closer to Indian art and craft traditions. The company showcases historical, beautiful and the best quality handcrafted creations produced by grassroot level artisans.

According to Indian Artizans, each of their unique creations come straight from the artists who have dedicated their lives to these arts and speaks of the unique story behind the hands that have created them. (AR)
