Dubbed as UITM8, the runway show’s most memorable moments came through the abstract geometric print infused creations designed by Fiq Farhan, stripes and polka dots adorned tweed pieces from Safira Syukri and belted fluid silk dresses created by designer Zaimi Zulkafli.

The just revived brand Dude and the Duchess stole the second day of the event with its stylish formalwear presentation. Designed under the guidance of label’s new creative director Jonathan Liang, the collection, which included pieces like pencil skirts and little cropped skirts, were adorned with sheer panels and geometrically layered details.

Clothing line Haflins showcased a very glamorous, glittery and colourful line on the third day of the Malaysian soirée. Based on smart sleek silhouettes detailed with contrasting sportswear accents, the line’s most standout ensembles were a lemon yellow shirt dress teamed up with tube socks, and oversized jumpers paired with tea-length skirts and peplum leather jackets.

Designer Farah Khan brought the swinging 60s back on the penultimate day with her shimmering, sexy catwalk range. Incorporated with contemporary vibes, the line featured sweatshirts (emblazoned with slogans like ‘GoGo to Kuala Lumpur’ and ‘Asia Rocks’) and some psychedelic print decorated and sequin and crystal embellished pieces.

The final day of KLFW displayed a very pretty runway collection from Max Mak. Based in confection-inspired hues, the line presented sheer tops, shift dresses and skirts with gigantic bows.
