Fashion designer, Neeta Lulla, will be opening the third edition of the India Beach Fashion Week (IBFW), a resortwear fashion show displaying latest trends, to be held from May 20-22, 2016, in Goa.

Lulla's collection is inspired by Chinese flowers representing feminity and romance. Many new age  designers and ace designers like Mayyur Girotra and Anupama Dayal will be dislaying their collections at the event.

IBFW this year will introduce unique properties like Future Fashion Conclave and Sangria by the Sea,   which will bring together the best in the fashion industry for knowledge sharing and networking.

In addition, IBFW also will have 'Made in Goa' showcase which is designed to create a global platform for Goan designers, artists, textiles, handicraft to showcase their talent.

Amyn Manji, co-Founder and MD, UVAR Global, organiser of IBFW, said, “Global fashion trends are finding its way into the Indian lifestyle with the new age consumer growing more fashion cognizant. Consumers are price sensitive and yet open to adopting new lifestyle changes, especially in travel and festive celebrations. Increasingly, destination weddings and theme parties are becoming part of our social culture and hence the beachwear or resort wear category also has seen a fillip in the recent times. With IBFW we hope to offer designers a platform to showcase talent and lead the conversation around resort fashion in the country.”

Designer Varun Bahl will close the India Beach Fashion Week with his latest resortwear collection. (HO)
