The Vancouver Fashion Week (VFW) is a diverse and innovative fashion experience that welcomes more than 20,000 attendees biannually over a six-day period. As it is an international event of the highest caliber, the VFW attracts the collaboration of such renowned designers as Versace, Anna Sui, Lauren Vidal, Kersh, Ha Sang Beg and Helen Lee. This popular and influential fashion world convergence provides worldwide exposure for designers and creates mutually beneficial campaigns with industry partners.

In order to expand its already strong international media presence, which includes print, online and television coverage, VFW has teamed up with the Austin, Texas boutique Marketing & PR consulting firm Mocha 7 Media. The firm will focus its efforts on promoting VFW's upcoming Spring/Summer 2012 Show, which will take place from November 1-6, 2011.

"VFW has been an impressive platform for bringing together established and emerging designers from across the globe." says Mocha7 Media's CEO Amna Nadim, "We're very excited to be a part of their upcoming show and can't wait to create some PR and social media buzz for them" Mocha 7 Media prides itself on providing its clients with tailor-made services rather than a one-size-fits-all solution.

The firm's team is comprised of specialists in PR and marketing sub-segments, including brand reputation & public sentiment management, community development, networking & relationship building and media outreach. Together these specialists will develop a creative and specialized approach aimed at delivering a promotional strategy that is not only ideal for a major fashion event but also as unique and respected as the Vancouver Fashion Week itself.
