ASTRID ANDERSEN Astrid Andersen graduated from The Royal College of Art in 2010 and went on to win the Brioni Creativity and Innovation Award and the River Island MA Student Bursary Award. She aims to break down traditional sportswear stereotypes and give it a new resonance within luxury fashion.
Her graduate collection, styled by Simon Foxton, was rapturously received and she has been featured in everything from i-D and Dazed & Confused to The Financial Times and VOGUE UK. The fact she casts the hottest boys in town can't hurt either.
She has shown with Fashion East menswear Installations for the past two seasons and the panel unanimously agreed it was time for her to graduate to MAN's catwalk. With international support from across the industry and increasing interest from outside supporters and collaborators, she remains one-to-watch for innovative and contemporary menswear.
