Neha's 'Wake Up will Ya' gives distinct fashion statement

For some easy comfortable laid back lounge and resort wear, Neha Agarwal presented her quirkily titled collection “Wake Up will Ya” at Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2012. The garments had that edgy fun look with casual silhouettes which were created in satin, silk, chiffon and fine mulmul for the very languorous garments.

The colour chart was vibrant with soft nude, black and off white setting the pace as onion and candy pink, blue grey, splashes of orange, brought the creations to life. Adding on metallic cutwork sequins and hand painting with leaf and dew drop prints, the look was sensuous and stylish for the coming season with loose pleated trousers, camisoles and umbrella cut midi dresses forming a great offering.

Opening the show with a purple hand painted dress and a moss green jacket with scallops, Neha continued with the print for cross over dress in white, then a sari worn with a hip length curved hemline blouse and a knit/sheer drop waist maxi.

The prints were constant through the collection while multi leaf brooches were an apt accessory. The orange/white summer dress, the blue printed sari and the gathered rouched maxi were summery, airy creations. Finally, the multi coloured print sari and the asymmetric long dress completed this very fluid feminine collection.

For holiday and resort wear that makes a distinct fashion statement, Neha Agarwal had all the right options!
