The current situation in the French market has led to consideration being given to holding the former trade fair in Paris as an event for the public at another time. With the aim of increasing consumer awareness of sustainable fashions, the organisers will endeavour to stage an event of this kind at a suitable exhibition centre and at a target-group oriented time.
Independently of this, the preparations for Messe Frankfurt’s two fashion fairs during the Berlin Fashion Week are in full swing. “The trade fairs in Berlin continue to develop dynamically and we have already received numerous registrations for January 2013. We are extremely optimistic about these events”, says Olaf Schmidt, Vice President Textiles & Textile Technologies of Messe Frankfurt. The Ethical Fashion Show Berlin and the GREENshowroom will open their doors from 15 to 17 January 2013. Together, the two trade fairs form the main platform for eco fashions in Berlin, Germany’s fashion metropolis.
