Ace Indian fashion designer Raghavendra Rathore has been appointed to monitor and supervise the upcoming NTC Young Designer Hunt, a nationwide talent hunt for ten most promising designers of today.

Organized by the National Textile Corporation Limited (NTC), the talent hunt aims to bring regional creativity to the fore by giving local designers a chance to showcase their unique native creations.

The winners from all the five categories – apparels, accessories, home décor, furniture and handicrafts – will get a one year contract to work with NTC.

Known for his Brand India image, the costume designer-cum-entrepreneur Raghavendra Rathore owns exclusive patents on bandh-gala jackets and Jodhpuris.

A central public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Textiles, NTC aims to be a world class eco-friendly integrated textile company, catering primarily to the clothing needs of the nation.
