Amidst the bigwigs and the regular personalities of the fashion world, the recently concluded Paris Menswear Fashion Week also saw some relatively new entrants like South Korean fashion designer Juun J who are subtly yet effectively carving a niche in the international men’s fashion circuit.

On the third day of the five-day-long event, the designer presented a reversed detailing concept through his latest fall-winter 2013/2014 collection, which literally had the insides of the clothes turned out.

Along with a delightful mix of 1950s styles and a hint of current streetwear, the line included a range of bomber jackets, bulky coats, ankle-cropped skinny pants, oversized sweatshirts and blousons with loud prints.

Juun first started fashion designing in 1992, after completing his compulsory military service in South Korea. Juun’s collections generally have tough cloak-and-dagger vibe, hard-edged tailoring and sharp silhouettes.
