Among those LFW first timers, American fashion designer Tom Ford’s first-ever full-fledged ramp show at the event is something to watch out for. The 51-year-old designer, who till date preferred showing his collections at small private gatherings only, is going to stage a regular show with an expected attendance of nearly 500 to 1,000 people, including fashion media and bloggers.

The next in line is the Barbados-born and US-based famous singer-cum-actress Rihanna’s maiden presentation as a designer. In collaboration with the UK high-street fashion label River Island, the 24-year-old is going to launch her exclusive line titled ‘Rihanna for River Island’, which is a mix of apparels and accessories, at the high-profile event.

Also making her LFW debut is famous American costume and fashion designer as well as former model L'Wren Scott. After showing her collections consecutively for the past five years at various private gatherings in New York, the designer, whose creations are being favoured by the likes of Michelle Obama, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, Naomi Campbell, Reese Witherspoon, Christina Hendricks, Jennifer Lopez, Sandra Bullock and Uma Thurman, will be unveiling the latest autumn/winter 2013 collection from her eponymous label at the event.
