Kim Kardashian & Jessica Alba attend Diesel+EDUN launch

In a noble attempt to highlight Africa’s rich fashion heritage, Italian design company Diesel, in partnership with ethical brand Edun, has recently launched a 25-piece capsule collection at a glitzy gathering in Paris attended by the who’s who of Hollywood, such as Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Jessica Alba, Tilda Swinton, Adrien Brody and Nicole Richie.
Inspired by African creativity, the vibrant line titled as Diesel+EDUN has been manufactured entirely in the African continent using cotton from Uganda.
The denim-based collection, featuring Malian textile prints and embroidery details of traditional Zulu patterns, offers a range of stylish jerseys, jackets, sweatshirts, T-shirts and jeans.
The new range is result of the joint collaboration between Diesel’s Only The Brave Foundation project in Mali and EDUN’s Conservation Cotton Initiative (CCI) in Uganda.
