China, here we come – Façonnable continues full-steam ahead with its retail rollout in strategic markets, this time with its first store in Mainland China, in the bustling metropolis of Shanghai.

The new outpost is housed inside Takashimaya, a spanking-new top-level department store that mixes tradition with innovation and is located in the Changning New Landmark area at the prime Gubei.

The Façonnable boutique sits on the ground floor next to a flurry of global luxury brands including Armani Collezioni, Corneliani, Gianni Versace, Dolce&Gabbana, Carolina Herrera and Gianfranco Ferré.

The boutique fans out over 175 sqm, offering Façonnable’s entire range of men’s and women’s collections, infused with that easy-does-it luxury and colorful approach to elegant sportswear that characterizes the brand.

The design is Façonnable's most recent concept oozing that inimitable French Rivera spirit that has made Façonnable one of the world’s most coveted lifestyle brands. Natural wood floors, whitewashed walls, and flashes of blue stripes create an airy and intimate environment.

Established in 1831, Takashimaya Company Limited is devoted to offering an exceptional shopping experience characterized by the highest level of Japanese quality and service.

Already present in Singapore and Taiwan, Takashimaya has chosen the cosmopolitan and affluent area of Gubei in Shanghai to open its first department store in Mainland China. Takashimaya is Japan’s leading department store operator in terms of turnover with over 20 stores in Japan scattered between Tokyo, Nagoya, Kyoto and Osaka.
