In a very honest attempt to offer a look back into her on-stage clothing style during her 25-year career, Australian singer Kylie Minogue has released a book titled ‘Kylie Fashion’.
The book is a compilation of the 45-year old singer’s fashion career preferences, particularly her stage costumes ranging right from skimpy outfits to showgirl costumes with plume headdresses and several other costumes designed by various designers including Jean Paul Gaultier and John Galliano.
Known for cladding over-the-top costumes during live performances, the singer gained recognition through some of her most popular songs like ‘Loco Motion’ which created a bash during 1960s.
In addition to showing only the bright side of the singer’s styling, ‘Kylie Fashion’ even reflects what Ms. Minogue calls as fashion mistakes.
In her book, the singer admits that over half the costumes she donned soon ran out of fashion or were not such that anyone can easily slip in accepting as a casual wear.
The book, published by Running Press, also narrates the difficulties that the Ms. Minogue herself and other showgirls face while rapidly changing the costumes and other accessories in the course of a show.
Taking ahead her music career alongside the book launch, the singer has recently signed a deal with Roc Nation.
