The 080 Barcelona Fashion event – held over the course of the last week at DHUB Barcelona – finished Friday its latest edition with shows from local Catalan brands. The Catalan brand Cóndor opened the morning session Friday at the catwalk of 080.

Inspired by the Mediterranean coast, the firm unveiled its collection "The Cóndor Mediterranean", garments predominantly of fresh colors which have been especially designed in conjunction with "Littlelia by Beth" with hand-made accessories.

Meanwhile the childrenswear brand Bóboli presented "Kaleidoscope", a collection where the intensity of color, the prints and the innovative treatment of the fabrics were once again the main attraction. Full of joyful, sophisticated and “now” colors with garments rich in decorative attraction.

The collections from BCN Brand, Naulover, Torras, Punto Blanco and Slazenger for Spring-Summer 2014 subsequently followed on the 080 catwalk. The footwear maker BCN Brand unveiled "Barcelona", with their well-known handdyed leather sneakers for both men and women. Naulover presented "Sea Punk", inspired by the colors of the sea, mixed with the purity of white and old stressed denim and jeans. In "The Authentic Me", the collection from Torras, short garments with materials of soft air stood out.

Punto Blanco decided for cultural interaction in their collection "Culture Mix", garments made in top-quality raw materials. Slazenger has once again drawn its inspiration from the world of sport in "Slazenger Heritage, Spring-Summer 2014", with items of soft, comfortable tones, with jumpers being the favored look, made with materials which straddled the two seasons.

The catwalk at 080 Barcelona Fashion closed with a show from the brand Escorpion. Traveling implies movement, physical, mental and emotional, a collection "Meetings" inspired by journeys through Brazil, Africa and the Mediterranean made by women over the course of time.

Friday evening 080 Barcelona Fashion’s 12th edition comes to an end with a talent competition to discover new faces for the international catwalks with Elite Model Look 2013. The most prestigious competition within the sector holds the final giving youngsters an opportunity to gain access to the world of fashion and become a model.

Master Class “The Image Dressed” by Outumuro

More than 120 people attended a master class "The Image Dressed" given by the internationally renowned photographer Manuel Outumurotendrá in the auditorium of the DHUB building.

The master class delved into visual communication in the fashion world, from its origins in illustrations up to the incorporation of photography. A chronological journey through the history of clothing, via some of the images bequeathed by great maestros to the fashion industry.

Around 30,000 attended the 12th edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion

This edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion has finalized with a new record number of visitors: around 30,000 people - journalists, buyers, bloggers, agents from buying houses, other sector professionals and general public – attended the shows and have participated in activities parallel to the main event.
