An impressive number of international fashion designers showcased their lines of eclectic dresses and other exotic apparels at the latest edition of Chengdu Fashion Week in Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan province in southwest China.

Taiwanese designer Pan Yiliang chose to present an exclusive collection titled ‘Knitting Queen’ with a very minimalistic approach. Based on dark sombre tones of black and gray, the range showcased several figure hugging knitted dresses with delicate handmade textures.

Ukrainian fashion label Ksenia Marchenco, who participated at the event for the third time in a row, opted for simpler cuts on vibrant colours for its latest catwalk presentation. Primarily based on shades of black and gray, the stylish yet fuss free ensembles were occasionally spiked with cheerful hues of white and green.

Chengdu Fashion Week is a bi-annual fashion event that takes place in August and December every year.
