More than 115 sustainable fashion labels from across the globe are gearing up to participate in the upcoming editions of the world’s two leading concurrent B2B eco-fashion trade fairs- Ethical Fashion Show Berlin (EFSB) and Greenshowroom.

Scheduled to be held during Berlin Fashion Week, the two simultaneous fairs, which will take place from January 14 to 16, 2014, will feature an array of Autumn/Winter 2014-2015 street and casual wear lines indicating a strong unwavering focus on ecology and ethics without compromising on good designs.

The fifth instalment of EFSB, which will be hosted at Berlin Mitte-based location ewerk, will showcase collections from Elementum, Format, Harold’s, HempAge, Komodo, Lanius, Nurmi, Quagga, Göttin des Glücks, Sey Organic Jeans, Studio Jux and Zerum.

Organized by one of the world’s largest trade fair companies Messe Frankfurt, the dual event’s fairly produced, sustainable, entirely high fashion-dedicated exhibit Greenshowroom would be hosted at the Kronprinzenpalais palace, Berlin.

Other than the display of socially-responsible fashion for men, women and children, the fairs will also host presentations and panel discussions revolving around the keyword Peak, which signifies the peaked consumption of natural resources and the immediate need to change the thinking of global economy.

Additionally, the talks and discussion rounds will also demonstrate new and corrective measures that can help in efficiently economising the industry and would also provide answers to current and future questions that are going to rise because of the rapid depletion of natural resources.

The simultaneous events, in collaboration with its Eco Design partner The Netherlands, will also put the spotlights on Dutch eco designs represented by exemplary sustainable fashion labels like Mud Jeans, Goodforall and Pälää.

The Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin is due to take place from January 14 to 17, 2014.
