12 Taiwanese designers partake at Tokyo fashion fair

Twelve fashion designers from Taiwan showcased their latest autumn-winter (A/W) 2014 collections at the recently held Tokyo fashion trade show—roomsLINK, at the Belle Salle Shibuya Garden in the Japanese city of Tokyo.

The Taiwanese participation was organized by Taiwan Textile Federation (TTF) with the aim of showcasing and promoting the Taiwanese fashion sector on an international platform.

Twelve designers presented their A/W 2014 collections during the ‘Creative Taiwan 2014-15’ catwalk event organized by TTF, during the show, where more than 300 professionals from international fashion industry were present.

The designers and fashion labels that showcased their creations at the four-day fashion fair were Austin.W, Abcense, Fu Yue, if&n by Yolanda Y Liou, Vivacita by Chia-jen Chang, WXY, Yungchin, Justin Case, Mischief by Jill Shen, Wisdom, SweetVillains, and Chang & Zoody.

In addition to the Creative Taiwan catwalk event, TTF also organized a special boutique-style exhibition titled ‘Taipei IN Style in Tokyo’ during the trade show, where the participating twelve designers displayed their collections for the visitors to examine them closely.

The roomsLINK show is a bi-annual fashion trade fair held in the Japanese cities of Tokyo and Seoul, with the aim of providing a platform for showcasing Asia’s latest trends in the field of fashion. More than 120 designer brands participated in the event and presented their latest A/W 2014-15 collections during the fair, which gathered more than 10,000 visitors.
