The Gen Next programme is a perfect example of Lakmé Fashion Week’s endeavor to promote and nurture young fashion talent. 18 long seasons have provided over hundred alumni with a chance to showcase their design sensibilities at India’s most prestigious fashion event. Swapnil Shinde, Rahul Mishra, Masaba Gupta, Nitin Bal Chauhan, Archana Rao, Aneeth Arora are some past protégés who got their first break at Lakmé Fashion Week. And are today a star in their own right.

Joining this illustrious club are six vibrant designers who will show their collections at the upcoming Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2014. They were chosen by the LFW Advisory board, who possess distinct qualities that promise to carry forth the legacy of the past Gen Next designers.

The winners will be mentored by Anita Dongre, one of the best Indian designer who will further enhance their individual design sensibilities.
