Spain’s childrenswear brand Bóboli opened the third day of Catalan fashion celebration 080 Barcelona with its latest retro-inspired summer range entitled A ramble through la Toscana.

Made using tiny floral pattern printed cretonne fabrics, the line’s most standout pieces included pink and purple hued voluminous dresses for girls and acidic toned Bermuda shorts for boys.

Barcelonan kidswear label Cóndor featured a fresh vibrant collection titled Fruits and Ice Cream. Made from lightweight cotton, linen, crepe and denim fabrics, the comfy casualwear line showcased sorbet hued outfits in pawpaw orange, watermelon red, porcelain Atlantic blue and citrus.

After the children’s fashion parades, the Catalonian brand Naulover took over the runway with its new womenswear collection Spicy Candy. Crafted from knit, silk, viscose and rayon materials, the spring season ensembles were based in simple straight lines and soft prints of aquatic lily and other flowers.

Custo Barcelona, the Spanish fashion brand owned by designer Custo Dalmau, sent some 73 looks, meant for both genders, to the Barcelonan runway. Made using delicate guipure and Broderie anglaise lace, the women’s line included several geometric shaped, transparent mini and long dresses in tones of mint, cream, raspberry, apricot, lemon and plum.

Crafted with ultra-light linen and soft satin fabrics, the male fashion collection gave the impression of handmade textured looks. Infused with a palette of monochrome, raspberry, toffee and pistachio hues, the ensembles included baggy pants, tailored trousers, shirts and sweatshirts.

Veteran designer Josep Abril drew inspiration from Japanese aesthetics for his latest menswear range which was comprised of baggy pants, vests, nylon jackets and stylish suits in grey, pale green and blue colours.
