After the official announcement made early this year, the host of popular reality television series American Idol, Ryan Seacrest, has finally launched his much-awaited menswear line in partnership with the New York-based department store chain Macy’s.

Dubbed as Ryan Seacrest Distinction, the affordable range is replete with signature classic male fashion looks incorporating fine materials, clean lines, different colour stories, geometric shapes, varied textures and bold styles.

The range, which includes an array of tailored suit separates and accessories, comes with a colour co-ordinating system named Style made Smart, which would help the customers to mix and match pieces from different colour categories.

The colour matching system will enable the buyers to achieve the perfectly-coordinated look by combining the pieces, including jackets, pants, shirts and ties, based on four colour groups- black, grey, blue or brown.

Each of the shirts and ties from the collection has also been designed to co-ordinate with two or more of the colour groups.

In addition to designing, Seacrest has also modelled in his self-designed collection, which is currently available in some 150 Macy's stores nationwide and online, for various outdoor, print, radio, digital as well as television commercials.

Founded in 1858, Macy’s operates through a network of mid-range to upscale department stores spread across around 800 locations in 45 US states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and Guam.

Other than hosting TV shows, Seacrest is also hosts the ‘On Air with Ryan Seacrest’ nationally-syndicated Los Angeles morning drive-time radio show for Clear Channel’s 102.7 KIIS-FM. (PB)
