The Belgian born American fashion designer Diane von Fürstenberg is the latest to join the American actress Gwyneth Paltrow’s high-end designer collaborative venture under her lifestyle website Goop.

The 68-year-old design veteran has created a limited edition seven-piece capsule collection, replete with ready-to-wear clothing and fashion accessories for the web destination.

The chic yet functional range includes a black tuxedo jumpsuit with a removable front panel, an abstract python print paper-thin cashmere scarf and two identical looking black and white coloured Katherine Hepburn-inspired wrap dresses, featuring deep V-necks, crisp collars, waist-cinching ties and subtly pleated poplin skirts.

Known for introducing the all-time favourite iconic wrap dress in the fashion industry, the designer Diane von Fürstenberg’s namesake fashion brand DvF is headquartered in New York. The label is sold in over 70 countries and 45 free-standing shops worldwide.

Launched in 2008, Goop is a weekly online publication which gives readers an exclusive access to recipes, travel guides, fashion, wellness tips and cultural notes.

The website had earlier partnered with esteemed fashion industry names like Stella McCartney, Cynthia Rowley, Rag & Bone, Warby Parker, Alexandra von Furstenberg, Matthew Williamson and Michael Kors. (PB)
