Made using chanderi silk, mataka silk and velvet fabrics, the premium BIBA by Rohit Bal collection is adorned with gold print, appliqué work and intricate gota patti and cut dana embroideries.
Based on a rich festive palette of cobalt blue, beige, orange and pink, the line features Anarkalis, churidaar kurtas, trendy Jackets, and A-line and Kalidar Kurtis with distinctive motifs and patterns.
The collection is available for sale at all exclusive BIBA stores in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Pune, Ranchi, Patna, Lucknow, Cochin and also at selected Shopper's Stop and Central stores.
Started in 1988, Biba products are currently available through nearly 155 exclusive outlets across 65 cities, apart from presence in all the major retail chains in the country like Shopper’s Stop, Lifestyle, Pantaloons and Central.
An alumnus of the National Institute of Fashion Technology, India, Rohit Bal has twice won the coveted designer of the year titles at the Indian Fashion Awards in 2006 as well as at the Kingfisher Fashion Achievement Awards in 2001. (PB)
