Exquisite lines of Spring/Summer 2015 creations were showcased at the just held 43rd edition of the Portuguese fashion frenzy ‘ModaLisboa’.

Designer Miguel Vieira featured a cotton and pure wool made line. Replete with slim fit cuts and structured shoulders, the gray, white and blue shaded pieces, including jackets and outerwear, were enhanced with linings decorated with prints of Portugal’s iconic monuments.

The young fashion creator Luis Carvalho featured cotton, cupro, polyester and viscose crafted ensembles for both men and women. Incorporated with deconstructed detailing, the funky sporty white, gray, minty green and yellow coloured blazer heavy line was adorned with interesting printed and lace embroidered versions of deer imagery.

Carlos Gil, the home-grown fashion talent whose creations are being preferred by the likes of Maria Alves da Silva Cavaco Silva (the wife of the incumbent Portuguese President Aníbal Cavaco Silva), showed his latest range titled Matching Point at the event. Replete with structured silhouettes and flowing volumes, the tennis-inspired pieces were adorned with geometric patterns of balls and stripes.

Designer Alexandra Moura opted to showcase monochrome themed collection made using denim and perforated neoprene materials whereas Dino Alves chose to display his salmon hue based line with corrugated flaps and jagged asymmetrical detailing at the fashion do in Lisbon. (PB)
