After the August, 2014’s launch of its women’s golfwear line, the American sportswear brand Antigua has now come up with a Spring 2015 men’s golf outerwear collection, made using technology enhanced lightweight functional materials.

Designed to be worn as standalone garments or under a heavy-weight outerwear piece or can be layered over a T-shirt or performance polo shirt, the line is based in bright colours and enhanced with zipper embellishments and contrast stitching.

While speaking on the line, Ron McPherson, the President and CEO of Antigua, states, “The Spring 2015 Men’s Golf Outerwear Collection is the focal point of Antigua’s ever-expanding lightweight golf outerwear. Technology advancements have included new lightweight functional fabrics, making the design potential limitless. And golf outerwear has been crossing over to daily wear use, which has helped grow the category.”

Fit to be donned as a cool weather everyday wear, the vibrantly hued half-zip pullovers’ range called Asset features brighter tonal sleeve taping and contrasting placket zippers.

The casual looking outerwear line Crux showcases a mid-weight, double knit neutral heather interlock which has been contrasted with a deep colour palette and outlined with seams covered in contrast colour stitching.

The lightweight, lightly brushed half-zip pullover Haze is replete with a tonal irregular yarn which is suitable for cool climates and provides maximum flexibility in movements.

Crafted from ultra light, thin and soft wind-resistant fabrics, the elastic seam tape infused half sleeve windshirt Skill is incorporated with a micro-membrane behind and against the filament knit interlock outer face and an additional inner layer of filament interlock.

Founded in 1976, headquartered in Peoria, Arizona, Antigua specializes in men’s, women’s and children’s lifestyle apparel and sportswear. The company’s sports division holds license agreements with National Football League (NFL), Major League Baseball (MLB), Minor League Baseball (MiLB), National Hockey League (NHL) and the National Basketball Association (NBA) and Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
